Help please!! ;-))
I am looking for music that would suit a shamadan choreography, middle eastern rythms and with a traditional egyptian background, but not too traditional, something more modern, with some nice breaks and enough drama to add a few other dancers or have stage effects , etc.
It's driving me crazy, I have something in mind, I just cannot seem to find what I am looking for!! ;-)))
thanks for any help!!

Re: Shamadan music
Mon, August 3, 2009 - 12:05 AMDon't know if you found anything yet, but have you tried view videos on YouTube? I have used slow classical egyptian music, something that sounds rather romantic. I've seen others use various types of music ranging from very upbeat fast to slow. It just depends upon what you are trying to express in the choreography. For group numbers turns and place changes on stage are dynamic. Best Wishes.
